Fun Using Powerpoint

I have to say I had an absolute blast using powerpoint to make the following presentations.

The first presentation was made in the lecture with the help of Dale Heading and Tahlia Yarrow and is about Mr Squiggle's Learning Journey.

This second video presentation was made when I was playing with cutting the background out of images and then adding audio narration.

I have just noticed that in the first video presentation there are problems with the picture.  This only happened after being inserted into the blog.
Below is a PMI analysis of using PowerPoint in the classroom.

• Easy to use
• Can add audio
• Can convert into movie format
• Can upload onto wikis and blogs
• Great tool for story boards

Minus

• Students may get distracted by all the transitiions and animations
• People often put too much information on the slides

Interesting

• You can narrate your slides
• Can make still picture movies
• You can cut the background out of images
